Saving a generation for the Lord. How do you do that? Where do you start? We began by finding a local pastor who has the heart for helping people. Pastor Miguel leads the Prince of Peace church in Patzibal and has been the major reason we have had the level of success feeding and discipling.

Children and women once ran away when when our teams were around. Now they wave and smile and are always excited to see us.

Pray America employs 75+ local Guatemalans to do the work. They are assisted by teams from the States.

We are focused in 3 communities around Chichicastenango, Patzibal, Xepocol and Saquilla. Our vision is to go deeper in these and built up the people to be able to go into other communities themselves.

Bridges and road have been constructed, trees planted (thousands of trees to help address the serious issue of deforestation), housed built, people fed, trust gained and many friends made. Communities are not built by bricks and bread only, but laughter and sweat and tears and love. The love of Jesus Christ!
